1995 The now called ASIA group is founded by an international group of
heavy industry advocates. The aim is to secure top supply chain solutions on a worldwide scale. The first branch is established in Shanghai, China

1997 Responding to the East Asian financial crisis ASIA decides to open a branch in the USA to maintain constant flow of supplies.

1999 Reintegration plans of Hong Kong into the Peoples Republic of
China are on its way and the Shanghai branch is moved to Hong Kong.

2005 name changed to Advanced Steel Industry Applications in order to reflect the current positioning in the marketplace.
